Last Updated - Fri, Mar 16 2018Detailed Question:
Hi doctor,
I have a problem with my left eye, it keeps twitching for sometimes.
I'm a software engineer and use to work about 10 hours a day on my system, but two months before, I stayed awake in all night and when I was about to sleep in the morning, I got some pain right in the middle of my forehead above my eyes. I know this is a kind of sinus problem and I have been trying to get it resolved as well, but the problem still persists.
Now, for couple of days, I have vision problem like I am unable to see clearly in the night on the road, in the traffic. I have also some problem with the high volumes like vehicles horns, sirens etc. I feel like my brain nerves bouncing up and down in my mind. Please help me.

Consult with optician for both eyes since the problem you mentioned could be a sign that you require eyeglasses for correction of your eye power. You also suffer from anxiety which has caused the other symptoms you mentioned and you may need to take a counsellor's advice for the same. Consult with Psychologist for sessions to help with anxiety and to calm the mind. Many of the symptoms you mentioned may not be related to physical disorders and could be a part of anxiety itself, hence yoga and meditation are very important to be learnt and practised at this age for controlling it.

Anxiety isn’t always a bad thing, in moderation. In fact, anxiety can help you stay alert and focused and motivate you to solve problems. But when anxiety is constant or overwhelming, when it interferes with your activities and relationships, it stops being functional—that’s when you’ve crossed the line from normal, productive anxiety into the territory of anxiety disorders.
