My question is that can I use Amoxicillin to cure chlamydia. My doctor told me that if I take Amoxicillin 500mg dosage thrice a day anyone, it can cure my chlamydia as quick as in a week. Now my second question is that if I take Amoxicillin (875mg) dosage instead of 500 twice a day for a week, is it equally effective to cure chlamydia.

There are no common symptoms for Chlamydia but some people experience pain in lower abdomen, pelvis, vagina or testicle. Pain can also present during sexual activity or while urinating. There can be abnormal discharge from penis or vagina as well.
