This is a common problem with chronic alcoholic smokers. You must first get rid of your habits and quit drinking and smoking. Also get a liver function test, ECG and a chest X-ray to rule out any physical problems with your body. If all other reports are normal, it means you are suffering only from Anxiety. There are various treatments for this, such as counselling with a Psychologist or anxiety pills. We can prescribe that to you once you get the reports of the tests mentioned and stop your habits.

Anxiety Disorders

Everyone feels anxious some or other time. It’s a normal human emotion. Many people feel nervous while making an important decision, faced with a problem at work or before taking a test.
Anxiety disorders are different, though. They can cause such distress that it interferes with your ability to lead a normal life

Anxiety disorders are of several kinds like:

1. Panic Disorder:
People with this condition have feelings of terror that strike suddenly and repeatedly with no warning. Other symptoms include chest pain, sweating, palpitations (unusually strong or irregular heartbeats), and a feeling of choking. It can feel like you’re having a heart attack or "going crazy."

2. Social Anxiety Disorder:
People suffering from this overwhelming worry and self-consciousness about everyday social situations. The worry often centers on a fear of being judged by others, or behaving in a way that might cause embarrassment or lead to ridicule.

3. Generalized Anxiety Disorder:
This is excessive, unrealistic worry and tension, even if there's little or nothing to provoke the anxiety.

Symptoms of Anxiety Disorder

  • Heart palpitations
  • Feelings of panic, fear, and uneasiness
  • Shortness of breath
  • Problems sleeping
  • Cold or sweaty hands or feet
  • Not being able to be still and calm
  • Nausea
  • Dizziness
  • Numbness or tingling in the hands or feet
  • Muscle tension
