Why do I face difficulty in swallowing saliva and food?

Detailed Question:

When I swallow I notice a delay of saliva circulation and slow muscle functioning. I have to push the saliva and put effort to swallow saliva and a little bit of effort to swallow food. Also, after jogging I feel pain on the back of my neck above my spine and also on the left side of my neck and while running if I swallow saliva I feel the same pain and difficulty swallowing my saliva.

When I burp, I also feel the same pain and many times I force my burp to happen. Sometimes I have breathing problem while eating. If I tilt my head back side I feel the same pain and I have dizziness sometimes. My throat get tired when I eat food like rice so I eat pasty foods to swallow easily.

Sometimes, depending on my neck posture, my breathe makes some sound. When I walk long distance, my throat dries up. I have noticed that when I eat spicy foods there is a bad sensation in my throat. When I sing I feel vibration in my throat. There is a click in my throat when I swallow saliva and it makes a 'thus' sound and I feel my nerves or muscles are clicking.

Sometimes if I move my head and neck I hear a sound from it with a slight pain, like it is rusted. I have depression thinking that I will suffer from this disease life long. After food or drinking water, when I bow down, the food liquid comes up my throat. It also happens when I burp after food followed by a sensation in my teeth.

The symptoms you have described are in fact part of normal functioning of the body. This is quite usual with most people and not anything  abnormal. Hence it does not require treatment, however if it is troubling you excessively, you can see a Surgeon for this to diagnose any abnormality and recommend tests like an Ultrasound or others. But in my opinion, it mostly does not require any treatment. Also, it depends a lot on your age.

If you had mentioned your age, I could gauge better. But the basic rule is if you are younger <30, it may require a physical evaluation, whereas if you are older or middle-aged, it can be a sign of other problems as well such as ageing or thyroid problems.
