Triphala Powder Dosage: How to take it?

This mixture is available in the form of a fine powder called Triphala Churna / Triphala Powder. You can take 1 tsp of Triphala powder with lukewarm water before bed at night. Maintain a gap of 2 hrs between your dinner and taking of Triphala Churna. There are other ways to have it as well. Let’s have a look.

Triphala Churna Dosage You can take 1 tsp of Triphala Powder and mix it with 1 tsp of honey. Mix it nicely and take it before bed. Honey will help to reduce the bitterness of Triphala.

1 capsule of Triphala 3 time’s day is a normal dosage in which you can take this Churna. Make sure to regulate the intake according to your convenience. Excess intake might lead to loose stools. 3. Hampers blood sugar

Diabetic patients should avoid taking this mixture as it hampers the blood sugar levels. If taken, it should be under medical supervision

4. Dehydration

Excess intake of this mixture may lead to dehydration due to an increased cleansing process of the colon. If you are using Triphala for laxative purposes, then you should make sure that you do not exhibit any signs of dehydration including muscle weakness, dizziness or excessive thirst. 5. Diarrhea
